Description

I wanted sunlight to be a tangible thing, taking away its ethereal nature of warmth and light and making it a physical, tangible
object. The central character’s anxious/stressed green face is being freed by exposure to the sun revealing a happy person
underneath. A fragment of the green face breaths in the sunlight and it is transformed into a colourful explosion, symbolizing a
broken person relying on external substances for release. The moon man is a dream-state figure, escaping the anxiety in his
own way. The fish-man reaches back into the water, towards his human desires and aspirations in an unnatural desire to
escape his fish nature, which is his true self. In the water on the right little happy faces are anesthetized by the confections
above. In the sky a crazy clown enjoys the view, having partaken of the sunlight and succumbing to its effects. The cloud head
dreams away on the left side, in a seemingly unsettling dream.
